Chuck Whittall, the son of a fireman, came from very modest beginnings. As a lifelong resident of Central Florida, he developed the heart and mind of an entrepreneur at a very young age. When he was the tender age of 12, Mr. Whittall, started his own lawn mowing business and at 18 opened a successful teenage nightclub. With a strong interest in construction, he pursued and received his Class-A General Contractors License and formed a construction company that he owned and operated for several years before venturing into the world of real estate development. In 1998, Mr. Whittall founded Unicorp National Developments, Inc. which has designed and constructed numerous retail developments, over 100 drug stores, Town Centers and Luxury Apartment complexes, and the extremely iconic Orlando Eye. His projects to date have an aggregate value of more than 3 Billion dollars. With great poise and vision, Mr. Whittall has built a great company with a tremendous team and is often recognized by the Orlando Business Journal and The Orlando Sentinel as the premier development company of Central Florida.
Chuck Whittall has received numerous recognitions such as the 2015 Dick Pope Legacy Award, Game Changers of the Year 2013, noted as Top CEO in Central Florida 2014-2018, Top 50 Most Powerful Business Men in Central Florida 2014-2021 and Orlando Business Journal’s 2017 Developer of the Year. Unicorp is also named as one of the Top Privately Held Companies in Central Florida, as well as Orlando Sentinel’s Top 100 Companies 2018-2021. In June of 2019, Whittall was awarded the 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Florida by Ernst & Young. In 2021, he received the Development Partner of the Year Award from Marriott.
Mr. Whittall has been involved in many charities and has a philanthropic heart, and believes strongly in giving back to the community. He is the appointed Chairman of the American Heart Association in 2016 and 2017, he also had a record-breaking year for the Orlando Chapter raising over $400,000 for this great cause. Mr. Whittall is being recognized as the 2019 Legacy Honoree at the 2019 Heart Ball for his continued support and fundraising.
CFO/COO
Dale Fitch has extensive experience in a wide range of leadership, management and advisory positions. In the role of CFO/COO he provides executives with timely and accurate financial statements, ongoing cash flow projections and structured debt options. He oversees accounting, finance, treasury management, human resources, IT, and property management operations. Mr. Fitch offers broad management, financial, and strategic advice to the rest of Unicorp’s leadership team. Prior to joining Unicorp, Mr. Fitch has held various challenging positions. He spent 13 years as a healthcare financial consultant for regional and national Accounting/Consulting firms. During his consulting tenure, he acted as an independent reviewer for over 150 fraud investigations. After leaving consulting, Mr. Fitch was CFO/Controller for a television production company and Director of Finance for a large commercial real estate developer. Mr. Fitch holds an MBA and BSBA degree from Wilkes University and is a veteran of the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. Mr. Fitch as been with Unicorp since 2010.
Chief Administrative Officer
Amy Barnard is responsible for overseeing the management of all legal operations within the company and has over twenty years of legal experience. She acts as the corporate liaison to outside counsel and oversees all real estate transactions and litigation proceedings. She is also tasked with providing assistance to Leasing, Financial, Property Management, and Construction departments with regard to various tenant, lender, and development matters.
Vice President of Accounting
Lisa Lozano serves as the Vice President of Accounting at Unicorp National Developments, Inc. She started her career in San Francisco with Charles Schwab where she was a financial analyst in investor relations. She then worked in Los Angeles with a private investor relations firm where she implemented strategic investor relations programs for several small to mid-cap sized companies. Prior to coming to work for Unicorp, she worked with Tavistock Group, an international private investment company. Lisa has an extensive background in finance and holds a B.S. from the University of Florida.
Director of Development
As a respected and seasoned executive in the real estate development industry for over 30 years, George has been involved in a wide array of complex, high profile developments in the U.S., Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. Over the course of his career, he has developed over 10 million square feet of commercial space, totaling more than $5 billion in development. Before joining Unicorp, George ran his own real estate consulting practice providing advisory services to private, corporate and institutional investors. Previously, George held increasingly responsible positions with The Related Group (Miami), Constructa US (Miami), Disney Development Company (Orlando), Canizaro Interests (New Orleans) and General Growth Properties (Chicago). His most notable projects include Disney Springs, St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and Residences, Cocowalk, Mary Brickell Village, Celebration Town Center, Eurodisney, Sofitel (New York and Chicago), Canal Place Fashion Center, Jackson Brewery Festival Center (New Orleans), and numerous other, luxury hotels, condominiums, regional malls, and urban entertainment centers.
George attended the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois, with post-graduate studies from University of Florence, Italy and the Crummer Graduate School of Business of Rollins College.
Director of Multifamily Operations
Jessica’s responsibility is to maintain operational strategy and daily operations related to Unicorp’s growing multifamily portfolio that includes Class A high rise, midrise and garden style apartment homes. Jessica has over 15 years of property management and multifamily experience and actively holds her Florida real estate licenses, CAM and ARM certificates
Assistant Property Director
Laura has more than 25 years of successful property management experience including an extensive background in maintenance and tenant retention. Prior to relocating to Florida she held a Texas Real Estate license and worked in property sales, vacation and long term rentals as well as property management services. She has also worked in the apartment industry managing several large upscale apartment communities in the Houston/Galveston/Orlando area. Laura joined Unicorp National Developments in 2011 where she and the property management team are responsible for overseeing 820,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Laura has managed all types of commercial properties and multi-family properties in Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida during her career.
Assistant Property Director
Christina Osborne is the Assistant Property Director at Unicorp National Developments and joined our team in 2017. She manages all the Unicorp commercial retail properties, locally and throughout the U.S. Christina’s responsibilities include the coordinating of all property maintenance issues and repairs, while working closely with our many tenants and vendors on all our properties. She spends a great majority onsite, ensuring that the Unicorp properties are being properly maintained. As Assistant Property Director, Christina works closely alongside Sam Beavers, Director of Property Management, and Laura Lane, Assistant Property Director.
Prior to being promoted to Assistant Property Director, she worked in our construction department, assisting our Project Managers with the handling of general contractor bids, proposals, and plan review processes.
Director of Real Estate
Director of Accounting
Justin Patterson possesses a broad range of financial and accounting experience gained through years of providing professional services to middle market organizations. In the role of Accounting Director, Justin is responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, reviewing general ledger activity and managing transactions with the owners’ of Unicorp’s property portfolio.
Prior to joining Unicorp, Justin was an Audit Manager with an international accounting firm where he provided audit and advisory services to companies in the construction, agriculture, financial services and government industries.
Justin attended Florida State University, where he earned his B.S. degrees in accounting and Finance, as well as a master’s degree in accounting. Justin is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and FICPA.
Marketing and Events Manager
In her role as Marketing and Events Manager, Alex develops creative materials for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets. She maintains social media pages and websites for Unicorp and its related projects. Alex is primary liaison between respective media outlets and company. She plans all corporate events from initial planning through completion.
Prior to joining Unicorp in 2023, Alex attended The University of Central Florida and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Development Manager
In his role as Development Manager, Kyle oversees all aspects of Unicorp’s projects through design, entitlement, finance, construction, and tenant coordination. Prior to joining Unicorp in 2021, Kyle attended the University of Central Florida where he earned a BSBA with a double major in Real Estate and Finance as well as a Minor in Urban and Regional Planning.
Development Manager
Zack joined Unicorp in early 2020 as Development Manager. In his role, Zack oversees various aspects of Unicorp’s projects including source funding, development and construction. Zack graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Richmond with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. While at Richmond, Zack competed on the Division I golf team in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Development Manager
Dalton joined Unicorp in 2024 as Development Manager. In this position she manages all areas within a project–design, construction, budget, communication, and scheduling.
She graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and minor in Business Administration. She also spent time studying Construction Management at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
Accounting Manager
Holly joined Unicorp National Developments in 2012 as a Senior Staff Accountant. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and 28 years of experience in the accounting field in various industries including manufacturing, construction and project accounting. Holly currently serves as Unicorp’s Accounting Manager.
Accounts Receivable Accountant
As the Accounts Receivable Accountant at Unicorp, Graye manages the company’s billing and collections to ensure cash flow optimization, while also maintaining strong client relationships. Before joining Unicorp in 2024, Graye attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned a BSBA in Finance, along with a minor in Philosophy.
Manager of IT Services
Zac started at Unicorp in 2022 as the Manager of IT Services. He keeps Unicorp’s infrastructure up and running and aids in the design of the tech within Unicorp’s many developments. He spends much of his time preparing for future growth and development of the company as a whole and ensures all technology functions properly and efficiently.
Zac attended University of Central Florida and received his B.S. degree in Information Technology.
Leasing
Taylor has been a part of the Unicorp team since 2015, following her graduation from the University of Florida. Through her years at UF, she was an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a loyal football fan, like her dad.
Taylor began her career as Unicorp’s Media Relations Manager, leading the marketing efforts and promoting the company’s $3 billion worth of projects. Taylor quickly found interest in deal-making, which led her to obtain her Florida Real Estate License and join the retail leasing team. In 2020, Taylor managed all leasing efforts for Unicorp’s 1,000,000 square feet of retail, along with all new construction projects. Taylor is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has executed deals with many of the nation’s leading retail tenants, such as Publix, Wawa, Starbucks, Walgreens, Chase Bank, Raising Canes, and more.
Receptionist
With over twenty years of combined experience in customer service and public relations, Nelly has been “the face of the Company” as our receptionist for the last ten years. Upon graduation with a B.A. in Communications, she worked for two years as an Account Executive for a Public Relations firm in Puerto Rico; before relocating to Orlando, Florida in 1988. Being fluent in English and Spanish, she has also worked in the retail and medical field before joining our team at Unicorp. Among other administrative support responsibilities at Unicorp, Nelly handles all office mailing and office supplies needs; establishing long lasting business relations with our vendors.

Jay is the Founder and Principal of Structure Development. For the past 30 years, he has led the development of over 2 million square feet of multi-family, mixed-use, retail and self-storage projects across the United States. Jay is consistently working on cutting edge projects, builds agile teams and is persistently leading the field in ground up development, utilization of construction technology and urban-infill redevelopment.
Development Partner
Shaun has spent the past 20 years in real estate capital markets and development. He has managed capital raises of over $15 billion in private and public markets and has experience in the ground up development of retail, self-storage, and single and multi-family residential real estate.
Shaun is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from the Investment & Wealth Institute and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer has a combined 18 years of experience in Property Management and Real Estate Land Development. In her role as Development Manager for the past 11 years, she has consistently overseen numerous multi-million dollar developments through all stages of pre-development and construction
